Pedestrian Struck, Injured by Motorcycle on Pacific Highway

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 25, 2021) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a motorcycle on Pacific Highway near Laurel Street Monday morning.
 
According to police officers, the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, the motorcyclist struck the pedestrian east of the San Diego International Airport.
 
Following the crash, paramedics responded and transported the victim to UC San Diego Medical Center for serious injuries, including head trauma. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed where the fault lies or what factors drove the crash. Although, if anyone has more information, please contact police officers.
