25-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Del Mar Heights Road

 
DEL MAR HEIGHTS, CA (October 18, 2021) – A 25-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Del Mar Heights Road, Saturday evening.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on October 16, at about 6:30 p.m. A Nissan Montero reportedly attempted to make a left turn onto Del Mar Heights Road. There, the Nissan collided with the motorcycle near Mar Scenic Drive.
 
The rider suffered serious head trauma and needed immediate hospitalization. As per reports, the rider is expected to survive.
 
Meanwhile, the 16-year-old Nissan driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. She did not sustain injuries in the collision.
 
San Diego police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
