Rick Porietis Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run on Fourth Street and Milliken Avenue

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (September 20, 2021) — A 57-year-old man identified as Rick Porietis died in a hit-and-run crash last month.
 
According to the Sheriff’s Department, Porietis tried to cross Fourth Street near and Milliken Avenue at 8:18 p.m. on August 21. Then a Nissan Sentra with a spoiler headed west on Fourth Street struck him. The Nissan then fled the scene.
 
Paramedics brought Porietis to a hospital where he later died from sustained injuries.
 
Two suspects, a man and a woman, are linked to the Nissan. Both were captured in surveillance footage. It was not immediately clear which of them was behind the wheel during the crash.
