Man Suffered Injuries in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Lonesome Road

 
KLAMATH, CA (September 20, 2021) — A 38-year-old man from Klamath suffered injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Highway 101.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, his motorcycle collided with an SUV. The accident took place on Highway 101 near Lonesome Road at 5:35 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15.
 
CHP Officer Brandy Gonzalez said an ambulance rushed the motorcycle driver with major injuries to Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City. There are no reports if the other driver was hurt.
 
Officials said both drivers are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the incident.
 
The crash temporarily closed the southbound lane of the highway and officials set up traffic control in the area. They cleared and fully reopened the highway at 6:26 a.m.
