Tree Trimmer Dies while On Job in Agoura Hills

 
AGOURA HILLS, CA (August 26, 2023) – Reinaldo Rocha was killed in a tree trimming accident in Agoura Hills Wednesday morning on August 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Lewis Road, just south of the 101 Freeway. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Rocha was working on a residential tree when he became stuck 40 feet up.
 
Firefighters immediately responded and pronounced Rocha dead at the scene.
 
Rocha was a 46-year-old Baldwin Park resident, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
 
The circumstances of the death are still under investigation.
