Refugio Barrientos Jr. Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Main Street at 14th Street

 
SANTA ANA, CA (April 11, 2022) — Refugio Barrientos Jr. died in a hit-and-run accident on Main Street at 14th Street on Saturday morning.
 
According to reports, the deadly two-vehicle accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. Upon arriving, Santa Ana police officers found an abandoned white 2021 Dodge Charger with an engine engulfed in flames.
 
Officials located 36-year-old Barrientos Jr. dead inside his 2005 Chevrolet Colorado.
 
According to authorities, the Dodge collided with the Chevrolet while traveling at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, the Dodge driver and a passenger reportedly fled on foot and hopped into a red-colored SUV. However, it is unclear where the two had gone off to.
