Raul Alvarez Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Foothill Boulevard [Upland, CA]

60-Year-Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle at Foothill Boulevard and Hospital Parkway

 
UPLAND, CA (June 25, 2023) – Raul J. Alvarez was killed in a pedestrian accident in Upland Tuesday evening on June 20.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:53 p.m. at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Hospital Parkway. According to the Upland Police Department, Alvarez was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
First responders rushed Alvarez to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
 
Alvarez was 60-years old from Chino, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
An investigation into this fatality is underway.
