WILLOWS, CA (November 17, 2022) — Ramirez Quirarte was injured in a two-car accident on County Road 25 at County Road M.
 
According to the Willows Area, California Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Elias Santiz neglected to stop behind the stop sign line on westbound County Road 25. As a result, 36-year-old Quirarte struck the right rear of Santiz’s car as it eventually stopped in the intersection. The impact sent Quirarte’s southbound car rolling over and coming to a rest on the driver’s side.
 
Quirarte, of Orland, sustained minor injuries in the accident. As for Santiz, he pulled over and waited for CHP officials to arrive at the scene. Reports included no information as to whether DUI played a factor.
