1 Person Hospitalized in Bicycle Crash near Hearst Avenue in Berkeley

 
BERKELEY, CA (November 17, 2022) — One person was injured in a bicycle accident near Hearst Avenue and Euclid Avenue.
 
According to Berkeley Fire Department Battalion Chief Bill Kehoe, the bicycle accident happened around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a bicyclist.
 
As a result, the victim suffered major trauma, including an injury to the leg. Arriving paramedics brought the patient to Highland Hospital for treatment and evaluation. Meanwhile, paramedics assessed the occupants inside the car. However, it’s unclear whether anyone else was injured or what led to the accident.
