71-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Van at Marengo Avenue and Valley Boulevard

 
ALHAMBRA, CA (November 13, 2022) – Quang Khuu was hit and killed by a vehicle in Alhambra Friday morning on November 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Marengo Avenue and Valley Boulevard. According to the Alhambra Police Department, the 71-year-old victim was walking at the intersection when a van struck him.
 
Responding officers tried CPR to revive Khuu, but he died of blunt force injuries.
 
The driver of the van stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash, which is under investigation.
