Plane Crashes into Yard of Hemet Home on Warrent Road Badly Injuring Pilot
HEMET, CA (June 14, 2022) – A pilot was seriously injured in a plane crash near Warren Road and Mustang Street in Hemet on Tuesday morning, June 7.
Police said the plane went down and crashed into the yard of a home in unclear circumstances around 9:35 a.m.
Cal Fire, the Hemet Fire Department and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene. Firefighters were able to put out a fire after the crash and pull the pilot to safety.
Emergency crews then rushed the pilot to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Residents were in ther home at the time, but no other injuries were reported, officials said.
At this time, the crash is still under investigation.
