Phillip McShan Detained in Deadly DUI Pedestrian Crash on 80 Freeway near Pole Line Road

 
DAVIS, CA (April 11, 2023) — Phillip McShan faces charges in a DUI pedestrian accident that killed a person on the 80 Freeway near Pole Line Road.
 
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on April 9. For DUI-related reasons, Phillip Duane McShan struck a pedestrian on the 80 Freeway with his black Polestar.
 
The unidentified pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. After the crash, California Highway Patrol officers investigated the incident and confirmed that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
