Person Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near White Road

 
SAN JOSE, CA (January 4, 2022) — One person died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near White Road and Hills Drive on Sunday night.
 
According to San Jose police, the fatal hit-and-run occurred around 8:05 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a dark-colored SUV heading northbound on White Road struck a person crossing outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
Subsequently, a Toyota SUV with an adult driver and two passengers, as well as a solo driver in a GMC, struck the victim.
 
Soon after, the last two drivers pulled over and waited for authorities. However, the first driver in the dark-colored car had fled the scene.
 
At this time, authorities need the public’s help in identifying the whereabouts of the first driver who claimed the life of this victim. Therefore, anyone with information should contact the San Jose police.
