Wally Rogers Dies in Redding Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

 
REDDING, CA (June 16, 2021) — The pedestrian killed in a suspected hit-and-run June 9 on South Bonnyview Road is 55-year-old Wally Wayne Rogers of Redding, according to the Shasta County Coroner’s Office.
 
The collision was reported early Wednesday morning. Police found Rogers on South Bonnyview Road near Indianwood Road.
 
Rogers died at the scene.
 
The crash is under investigation. However, the authorities are still looking for the driver of the vehicle believed to be involved in the fatal hit-and-run.
 
A stretch of Bonnyview Road closed for several hours as Redding police officers investigated.
