LOS ANGELES, CA (September 26, 2023) — A pedestrian was struck dead in a hit-and-run accident on Hoover Street near Pico Boulevard.
 
According to Los Angeles police officers, the fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a southbound white pickup truck hit a man on Hoover Street. The driver did not stay and left the scene before police officers arrived.
 
The victim of the accident passed away from his injuries at a hospital.
