Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on West First Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (January 20, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on West First Street in Santa Ana Wednesday evening on January 17.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the victim was crossing north when a vehicle struck them in the 2800 block of West First Street around 8:00 p.m.
 
First responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, where the victim succumbed to their injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver fled the scene.
