Moreno Valley Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Old 215 Frontage Road

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (December 6, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Old 215 Frontage Road and Bay Avenue in Moreno Valley on Monday night.
 
The fatal crash happened just before 6:00 p.m. on December 4. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the pedestrian was walking southbound on Frontage Road when a northbound vehicle plowed into him.
 
After striking the victim, the driver fled the scene without stopping.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and attempted life-saving measures, but the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
The victim was only described as a Moreno Valley man. His identity was not immediately available.
 
Detectives are still gathering evidence Tuesday in an attempt to identify the suspect. They urged Anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s Moreno Valley station at 951-486-6700.
