FRESNO, CA (November 2, 2022) – A 39-year-old man was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver on Olive Avenue on Monday evening.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened on October 31 at about 10:30 p.m. A pedestrian reportedly attempted to cross outside of a marked crosswalk when a vehicle hit him near Millbrook Avenue.
 
Emergency crews transported the victim to Community Regional Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle failed to render aid and did not stop at the scene.
 
The identity of the driver and the type of vehicle involved remain unknown.
 
Fresno police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
