Pedestrian Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on East Parkway in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 28, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash on East Parkway in Sacramento on Friday morning, May 20.
 
The crash happened around 10:46 a.m. at Florin Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had struck the pedestrian at the intersection. After the crash, the driver did not stop to render aid.
 
Paramedics arrived and transported the pedestrian to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the crash. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
