Pedestrian Suffered Injuries in Hit-and-Run Crash on Cherry Avenue and Foothill Boulevard

 
FONTANA, CA (December 12, 2022) — A pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Cherry Avenue on Wednesday, December 7.
 
According to the Fontana Police Department, the crash happened at around 12:05 a.m. at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.
 
A witness told officers that he saw a dark-colored older model sedan hit the pedestrian. Then the vehicle slowed down and then left the area on Foothill.
 
Paramedics rushed the victim, an adult male, to a local hospital via ambulance. The extent of his injury was immediately determined.
 
Officers closed the intersection for around two hours during their on-scene investigation. The Fontana P.D.’s traffic unit then took over and handles the investigation.
