Pedestrian Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Crash on El Cajon Boulevard in Rolando

 
ROLANDO, CA (June 5, 2023) — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident on El Cajon Boulevard near 63rd Street.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department Traffic Division, the hit-and-run happened around 4:56 a.m. on May 20. In the 6300 block of El Cajon Boulevard, a driver of an SUV, believed to be a Cadillac, struck a pedestrian who was lying on the street for unknown reasons. According to surveillance footage, the driver stopped the vehicle and assisted the victim off the road but fled the scene shortly thereafter.
 
Moments later, paramedics brought the 42-year-old victim to a hospital with serious injuries.
