Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on 101 Freeway in Toluca Lake Turns Deadly

 
TOLUCA LAKE, CA (November 26, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on 101 Freeway in Toluca Lake early Thursday morning on November 23.
 
The fatal crash happened around 3:51 a.m. at the Vineland Avenue on-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the northbound lanes of the freeway.
 
When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from significant injuries. They attempted saving them, but the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
The full circumstances of this fatality remain under investigation.
