Pedestrian Struck Dead by Multiple Drivers on Soledad Canyon Road in Santa Clarita

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 20, 2023) — A pedestrian, hit by several cars on Soledad Canyon Road at Sierra Highway, died Sunday morning.
 
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 12:45 a.m. Under unexplained circumstances, several vehicles struck a male pedestrian on Sierra Highway.
 
Immediately after, at least one of the drivers contacted 911 and police responded. Paramedics arrived, as well, but the victim, described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, had already succumbed to his injuries. The man’s identity is pending notification of family members.
 
Everyone involved in the crash remained at the scene. Thus far, authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a factor, but a toxicology test is in process.
