Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Motorcycle on 405 Freeway in Culver City

 
CULVER CITY, CA (March 3, 2022) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a motorcycle on the 405 Freeway near Highway 90 on Monday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 7:45 p.m. For unknown reasons, a motorcyclist struck a pedestrian on the northbound 405 Freeway lanes.
 
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian, whose name has not been released at this time, succumbed to his or her injuries.
 
Following the crash, authorities closed the carpool and No. 1 and 2 lanes for the investigation.
 
At this time, information related to the cause of the crash and the condition of the motorcyclist remains unclear. Although, we will update this report once we receive additional information.
