Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Driver on 3rd Street Off-Ramp in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 12, 2022) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car on the 3rd Street off-ramp at the 110 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 12:51 a.m. Friday. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a man who had been initially riding a bicycle on the 3rd Street off-ramp. The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the scene and the driver stayed and cooperated with police investigators.
 
It’s unclear what drove the accident or if speed, distracted driving or DUI played a role. If anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
