TULARE, CA (November 21, 2022) — A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 137 near Soults Drive Thursday.
 
According to reports, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened around 5:00 a.m. Thursday. Dispatchers received several 911 calls around that time when witnesses heard a loud crash to find that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
 
The unidentified victim suffered serious injuries in the accident. As for the driver, he or she fled the scene in a maroon or dark-colored sedan headed westbound.
 
At this time, California Highway Patrol officers are looking into this crash from all angles to see if it was an intentional act. If anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
