1 Dead in 3-Car Crash near Fashion Island Boulevard in San Mateo

 
SAN MATEO, CA (November 21, 2022) — One person died in a 3-car accident near Fashion Island Boulevard and Highway 92.
 
According to the San Mateo police, the three-vehicle crash happened around noon Wednesday. In the 2220 block of Fashion Island Boulevard, three cars crashed in the north part of the Target parking lot. Soon after, paramedics arrived and brought three people to a hospital, where one person died the next day.
 
As of now, two people remain in stable condition. San Mateo police plans to look into this crash further. However, they do believe speed might have factored into the crash. If anyone has more information on this accident, please call their department.
