SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (October 3, 2022) — A pedestrian hit by a hit-and-run driver on Alpine Road near Live Oak Road Wednesday night suffered serious injuries.
 
According to authorities, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday. Upon responding, California Highway Patrol officers found a person seriously injured in what appeared to be a pedestrian accident.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and transported the patient to a hospital with major life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, CHP investigators need the help of witnesses to identify the suspect and vehicle involved in this hit-and-run. Police believe the vehicle is dark blue and should have damage to the left part of the car.
