SACRAMENTO, CA (February 26, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car on Gerber Road near Power Inn Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened Friday morning. For an unknown reason, an unidentified vehicle struck a person near the intersection of Power Inn Road and Gerber Road.
 
Shortly after, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District and California Highway Patrol responded to attend to the accident and investigation. However, traffic investigators did not explain the cause of the crash or the kind of injuries the pedestrian suffered.
