1 Hospitalized after Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident on Dutton Avenue near Sebastopol Road

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (January 3,2024) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in an accident on Dutton Avenue, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, the incident happened on December 26, at about 11:10 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a silver BMW sedan hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Sebastopol Road and Dutton Avenue.
 
Emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. As per reports, the victim remains in critical condition. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Officers ruled out speed and DUI as factors in the collision. Santa Rosa police will release additional information once it becomes available.
