SUV Hits Pedestrian on Peach Avenue in Hesperia
HESPERIA, CA (April 29, 2024) – A pedestrian was airlifted after being hit by an SUV on Peach Avenue in Hesperia Saturday evening on April 27.
The crash happened around 7:07 p.m. just between Sycamore Street and Manzanita Street. According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, a white Volkswagen SUV hit the pedestrian in the northbound lane of Peach Avenue.
A helicopter airlifted the pedestrian to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in an unknown condition.
The SUV sustained damage to the area around the headlight and hood of the driver’s side.
The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with deputies.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
