OAKLAND, CA (May 25, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on 580 Freeway in Oakland on Friday morning, May 20.
 
The accident happened around 2:23 a.m. at the MacArthur Boulevard on-ramp. According to the Oakland Fire Department, a charcoal gray Scion hit the pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
 
Emergency crews responded and found the pedestrian suffering from major injuries including a broken leg.
 
The crash also caused major damage on the car.
