Bicyclist Suffers Major Injuries after Hit by Car on Ramon Road in Palm Springs

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (December 29, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a bicycle accident on Ramon Road in Palm Springs Tuesday afternoon on December 27.
 
The accident happened around 5:19 p.m. at the intersection with El Cielo Road, just near the Palm Springs International airport. According to the Palm Springs Police Department, a vehicle struck the bicyclist in unclear circumstances.
 
First responders found the bicyclist unresponsive in the street. They took the victim to an area hospital with major injuries.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with detectives.
