HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA (May 18, 2021) — One person suffered a minor injury in a bicycle accident near Freshwater Lagoon and Highway 101.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol traffic scanner, the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Under unclear conditions, a driver in a white Kia crashed into a bicyclist.
 
Upon hearing the news, emergency personnel made their way to the scene to tend to the victim. Per reports, the patient sustained a minor injury. However, news reports did not specify the type of injury or if the cyclist was in the bike lane.
