Two-Vehicle Accident on West San Ysidro Boulevard in San Diego Turns Deadly

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 15, 2021) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle accident at West San Ysidro Boulevard and Via De San Ysidro Wednesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:31 p.m. on October 13. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Econoline van and a Nissan Rogue SUV collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused major injuries on at least one person. Paramedics attempted saving the patient, but the victim died at the scene.
 
Officials said the crash was a result from a possible medical emergency.
 
At this time, the identity of the deceased has not yet been released. This fatal accident is still under investigation.
