Los Angeles Two-Vehicle Accident on Santa Monica Freeway Leaves 1 Person Dead

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 31, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Santa Monica (10) Freeway near the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, early Thursday morning
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:05 a.m. on January 27 at the intersection with Coventry Place. According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver SUV and a UPS truck collided for unknown reasons.
 
As a result of the crash, one suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
CHP officials are still trying to determine the exact cause of the crash and liability.
