WHITTIER, CA (November 29, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Mines Boulevard and Sorensen Avenue in Whittier on Monday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:38 p.m. on November 27. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevrolet Silverado and another pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
 
First responders confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and city of residence of the victim were not immediately available.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
