Late Evening Two-Vehicle Accident on 5th Street in San Bernardino Ends in Fatality

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 30, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 5th Street and North Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino, late Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:27 p.m. on May 29. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, a white pickup truck and a gray van collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Officers arrived and found at least one person with major injuries. Paramedics took the patient to St. Bernardine Medical Center, where the victim later died.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
An investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
