Hit-and-Run Crash on Creston Road in SLO Leaves 1 Passenger Dead and Badly Injures 2 Others

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (March 12, 2024) – One person died and two other people were seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Creston Road in San Luis Obispo early Monday morning on March 11.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:30 a.m. just west of Neal Springs Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2008 BMW 328i was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and overturned several times.
 
Three passengers, who were not wearing their seat belts, were all ejected from the car.
 
Meanwhile, the driver took off after the crash.
 
Responding paramedics pronounced one of the three passengers dead at the scene. They also took the two other passengers to a hospital with major injuries.
 
At this time, the driver remains at large.
