Dump Truck and Sedan Collide near Florin Road in Sacramento Killing One

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 16, 2022) – One person died in an accident near Florin Road and Power Inn Road in Sacramento on Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. on May 14. According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, a dump truck and a Volkswagen sedan collided for unknown reasons.
 
Responding paramedics transported several people to a hospital, where one of them later died.
 
At this time, the identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
 
An investigation is underway.
