Traffic Accident on Central Freeway in San Francisco Ends in Fatality

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 7, 2023) – One person was killed in a traffic accident on Central Freeway at Harrison Street in San Francisco Thursday morning on October 5.
 
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to the area just after 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles.
 
Upon arrival, they confirmed at least one person dead at the scene. The victim may have been a pedestrian who was struck by several vehicles.
 
The County of San Mateo Coroner’s Office witheld the victim’s identity at this time.
