LYNWOOD, CA (January 5, 2023) – One person died in a traffic accident on 710 Freeway in Lynwood Wednesday afternoon on January 4.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:40 p.m. near Rosecrans Avenue. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene.
 
Information was not immediately available on the person’s identity.
 
Crews closed three lanes of the southbound freeway while they worked on scene.
 
At this time, it is unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor. CHP officials did not also indicate the number of involved vehicles.
