Bonsall Crash Involving 2 or More Vehicles on 15 Freeway Leaves One Dead

 
BONSALL, CA (June 26, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a traffic accident on 15 Freeway in Bonsall late Saturday afternoon on June 24.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:49 p.m. along the northbound freeway, just south of Old Highway 395. According to the California Highway Patrol, two or more vehicles were struck on the freeway and went down the right shoulder embankment, where they landed on their side.
 
Witnesses told the CHP a small black sedan was traveling recklessly when the crash occurred. An SUV flew off the right-hand shoulder.
 
First responders confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
 
The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
At this time, the circumstances of this crash remain under investigation.
