Collision with Semi Truck on Highway 58 in California City Kills At Least One

 
CALIFORNIA CITY, CA (March 8, 2023) – At least one person died after a semi truck accident on Highway 58 in California City Tuesday afternoon on March 7.
 
The accident happened around 1:53 p.m. near California City Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi truck had collided with another vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
One person was possibly ejected from one of the vehicles and died at the scene.
 
It was not immediately known who died or if any others were injured in the crash.
 
The coroner will release the name of the deceased at a later time. The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
