Pickup Truck Overturns on 15 Freeway in Harvard Killing One Person

 
HARVARD, CA (April 26, 2023) – One person was killed in a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in Harvard early Monday morning on April 24.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:07 a.m. about a mile after the Harvard Road exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck veered off the freeway towards the right shoulder. It then overturned several times and came to rest on its side within the shoulder of the freeway.
 
The vehicle also reportedly hit a Caltrans camera with solar panels on a pole next to guardrail.
 
San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded and rendered aid to the people inside.
 
The driver of the pickup truck suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The passenger was transported by ground ambulance in an unknown condition.
 
CHP officials did not indicate how many people were involved in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
