Driver Dies after Rear-Ending Semi Truck on Etiwanda Avenue in Mira Loma

 
MIRA LOMA, CA (February 13, 2023) – One person was killed in a rear-end accident on Etiwanda Avenue in Mira Loma Sunday morning on February 12.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a pickup truck crashed into the rear of a semi truck in the 5600 block of Etiwanda Avenue around 8:00 a.m.
 
As a result, the driver of the pickup suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities withheld their identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
The condition of the semi truck driver was unknown.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
