Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on North Huntington Avenue in East LA
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (May 22, 2023) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on North Huntington Avenue in East Los Angeles early Monday morning last week on May 15.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pedestrian was struck by a blue or gray BMW i3 at 507 North Huntington Avenue around 1:27 a.m.
The driver told officers that he swerved to avoid the pedestrian, but the victim threw himself at the car’s windshield.
As a result, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
No other information available at this time. Police are still investigating the fatality.
