Car Overturns on 5 Freeway in Tehama County Injuring Three People

 
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (May 22, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized in a rollover accident on 5 Freeway north of Red Bluff in Tehama County Thursday afternoon on May 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:30 p.m. near the Jellys Ferry Road off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda sedan was traveling northbound on the freeway when it overturned for unknown reasons.
 
Responding emergency crews found a total of three people inside the car. They transported them to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
