RIALTO, CA (May 10, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 210 Freeway in Rialto last week on May 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Toyota Camry and several other vehicles struck the pedestrian along the freeway near Ayala Drive. Witnesses told authorities the pedestrian was walking towards traffic and not attempting to cross.
 
Investigators found the pedestrian’s remains in a segment of the freeway. They will release the identity of the victim once it is confirmed and family members are properly notified.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
