Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on 205 Freeway in Tracy

 
TRACY, CA (February 10, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a pedestrian accident on 205 Freeway in Tracy on Tuesday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:49 p.m. on February 8 at the Mountain House Parkway off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was walking eastbound on the freeway when a car struck them.
 
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries from the impact and died at the scene.
 
Police located an Audi sedan on the right shoulder, unknown if it was the car involved in the crash.
 
At this time the identity of the victim was not immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
